Pine Straw Bales

Pine straw bales are made from long southern pine needles (6–8 inches) with a natural reddish-brown color. This material is naturally acidic and works well in landscape beds and around acid-loving plants.
Each bale covers approximately 30–40 sq. ft. at 3” depth. Lasts 2–3 years. Very lightweight and easy transport, bales are approximately 1’ x 1’ x 3’ in size. Pine straw bales supply organic matter necessary to help condition soil and promote better plant growth. Helps control weeds and retain soil moisture.
